A Royal Family in Trouble
Set in the fictional town of Morpur, The Royals tells the story of a once-glorious royal family now struggling with money problems. The family, once treated like royalty by society, is now trying to save their name and heritage while dealing with a mountain of debt.
Meet the Main Characters
Ishaan Khatter plays Aviraj Singh, a charming prince who’s good at playing polo but not so great at dealing with the responsibilities of a royal. After the death of his father, the Maharaj (played by Milind Soman), Aviraj steps up to save the family’s legacy.
Bhumi Pednekar plays Sophia Kanmani Shekhar, a strong and ambitious businesswoman. She dreams big and doesn’t let anything stop her. When Sophia meets Aviraj, the two team up to turn Morpur’s aging royal palace into a luxury bed-and-breakfast for tourists.
But it’s not all smooth sailing — their personalities clash, and egos collide, making for a fun and dramatic journey full of twists, emotions, and unexpected moments.
