Fans of Wednesday can finally mark their calendars! Netflix has officially announced the release date for Season 2, and yes, Jenna Ortega is back to bring more of Wednesday Addams’ spooky charm to our screens.
When is Wednesday Season 2 Coming Out?
The highly anticipated second season will be released in two parts:
- Part 1 premieres on August 6
- Part 2 arrives on September 3
Netflix shared the news on April 23 — cleverly choosing a Wednesday to make the announcement even more perfect. Along with the big reveal, fans also got a first teaser trailer and some exciting images from the new season.
Jenna Ortega is Back as Wednesday
Jenna Ortega will once again take on the role of the mysterious and sharp-witted Wednesday Addams. She’s not just acting this time — she’s also a producer for Season 2.
In a recent interview, Ortega shared how excited she is to return.
“The most exciting thing is being able to revisit her,” she said.
“Wednesday Addams is one of the coolest characters of all time… It’s so much fun to step back into her world.”
She also mentioned how fun (and a little weird!) it is to play someone so smart and confident. “She runs circles around everyone she talks to,” Ortega added.
What Will Season 2 Be About?
Season 1 gave us a good look at Wednesday, but this new season will dive deeper into other characters as well. Viewers will get to know more about the Addams family and their stories.
