Yash Raj Films (YRF) has released a brand-new poster for the upcoming action thriller War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on August 14 and will be released in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
The New Poster is Out – But Not Everyone’s Impressed
The new War 2 poster was launched across all major platforms and shows the three lead stars in fierce action poses.

YRF shared the poster on its official social media handles with the caption:
“The biggest showdown of the year loading… #30DaysToWar2 #War2 only in theatres from 14th August.”
Some fans praised the intensity and powerful looks of the characters. They said the countdown to the release made them more excited. However, many others were not impressed by the design and took to the comments section to express disappointment.
One user called the poster an “effortless fan-edit”, while another said, “How much money did they save making this?” Others added that the poster looked cheap, and some even said it was destroying the film’s original hype.
A particularly harsh comment read: “This War 2 poster looks like a loud, over-the-top PicsArt mess.” Another said, “Such poor posters! The excitement from the film’s announcement is gone now.”
About the Film: Big Stars, Bigger Action
War 2 is a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War, which starred Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. In this new film:

- Jr NTR makes his Bollywood debut as the main villain, an Indian agent named Vikram.
