The long-awaited Peaky Blinders movie has finally unveiled its official title—Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man—along with its global release plan. The feature film will hit select cinemas on March 6, 2026, before streaming worldwide on Netflix from March 20, 2026. The streamer has also released the first teaser poster, further heightening anticipation among fans.

Cillian Murphy Returns as Tommy Shelby

Directed by Tom Harper and written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, the film marks Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy’s much-anticipated return as Tommy Shelby, the iconic anti-hero he portrayed through the BAFTA-winning series from 2013 to 2022.

The ensemble cast includes:

  • Rebecca Ferguson
  • Tim Roth
  • Sophie Rundle
  • Barry Keoghan
  • Stephen Graham
  • Jay Lycurgo

Several familiar faces from the series also return, including Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, and Ian Peck.

Plot: Tommy Shelby Faces His Darkest Reckoning Yet

The official logline sets the tone for a tense, wartime narrative:

“Birmingham, 1940. Amidst the chaos of WWII, Tommy Shelby is driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet. With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons and choose whether to confront his legacy, or burn it to the ground.”

The story picks up after the explosive conclusion of the TV series, promising psychological depth, high-stakes drama, and the signature Peaky Blinders grit.

Two New Sequel Series Already in the Works

In October, it was confirmed that Peaky Blinders will return to television with two six-part sequel series, ordered jointly by Netflix and the BBC. These shows will follow the events of The Immortal Man and will be set in 1953, continuing Tommy Shelby’s evolving legacy.

Cillian Murphy will serve as executive producer, alongside Steven Knight.
