In a recent interview, Sharib Hashmi shared an interesting and delightful anecdote from the sets of ‘Tarla.’ He fondly reminisced about a particular scene in the film where he had to indulge in a gastronomic delight. “There’s a scene in the film, for which I ate 14 plates of Ragda Pattice. A lot of people cheat during such scenes by not eating the food item. But mujhe agar khaane ka scene ka milta hain toh main jam ke khaata hoon,” revealed Sharib with a smile, highlighting his dedication to authenticity in his performances.
Playing the role of Nalin Dalal, Tarla Dalal’s loving and supportive husband, Sharib felt a deep sense of pride in being part of a movie dedicated to the culinary icon. “Tarla Dalal is an iconic figure. We have been hearing about her since our childhood. Our mothers prepared food dishes after reading her recipe books,” he expressed, emphasizing the influence of Tarla Dalal’s culinary expertise on countless households across the nation.

I play a simple middle-class man.
