From its opening day, Jawan is drawing the attention of the audience. To date, the film is surpassing every record even after crossing the ₹ 1000 crore mark internationally. Now, it has even surpassed the box office record of Pathan, Shah Rukh Khan’s other blockbuster in 2023. Currently, Jawan surpassed Pathan’s worldwide gross collection of ₹ 1055 crore. Incidentally, SRK is the only Indian actor to have delivered two ₹ 1000 crore movies in one year.
Shah Rukh Khan is on fire with two films in a row set off as blockbusters in the same year. SRK’s third film of the year, Dunki will release pre-Christmas this year. Dunki is a social comedy-drama based on an illegal immigration method called “Donkey Flight” or the illegitimate backdoor way to enter nations like the USA or Canada. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani the film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and also has Taapsee Pannu, Dia Mirza, and Boman Irani in leading roles.
Reportedly, the Bollywood superstar was mobbed in Srinagar airport by fans as he reached to take a flight home to Mumbai. The actor was returning from Kashmir from a shoot for Dunki.
On the other hand, Yash Raj Films is seemingly interconnecting stories and building its Spy Universe. That’s the reason Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a cameo appearance in the upcoming Salman starrer Tiger 3. SRK is supposed to make a dramatic high-voltage entry into the Pakistani prison on a mission to rescue Tiger. The sequence would involve a jaw-dropping bike stunt by King Khan.
Currently, the action thriller Jawan is smashing all records to create its own. As if SRK in a double role wasn’t enough Anirudh Ravichander’s incredible music has made the movie worth watching multiple times. The film has some catchy tunes with Chaleya, Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya, and others. South superstar Nayanthara debuts in Bollywood as the lead heroine in Jawan starring opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Deepika Padukone is also seen in an extended cameo. In all, Jawan has so many elements to it that even after beating Gadar 2 and Pathaan it is making its way to more success.
