The official teaser for Kangana Ranaut-starrer Tejas is out showcasing the actress as an Air Force pilot. Written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara, Tejas tells the story of the incredible journey of an Air Force pilot, Tejas Gill. It is a story of patriotism and courage about pilots and soldiers who relentlessly defend our nation despite the challenges and hardships that come their way.
In the trailer, we can see Kangana preparing for her flight and a voiceover suggests these words, “Zarrori nahi hai har bar baatcheet hone chahiye, jung ke maidan mein ab jung hone chahiye. Hogaeya hai mere vatan pe ab bahut he sitam. Ab toh aakash se barish nahi aag barasni chahiye. Bharat ko chhedoge toh chhodenge nahi.”

Kangana has shared the trailer and the poster of Tejas on Instagram and wrote, “Jab bhi baat desh ki aayegi, woh saari hadein paar kar jaayegi! #TeaserOutToday #Tejas In cinemas on 27th Oct.”
Previously she had shared pictures on Instagram from her meeting with real-life Air Force officers. She captioned the photos with: “My herogiri turned into total fangiri when asli Air Force officers/ soldiers landed in the same hangar as we are shooting our movie Tejas …. They already knew about this upcoming movie and showed eagerness to watch it … this brief meeting was absolutely pleasant and encouraging…. Jai Hind.”
Incidentally, the National Award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut known for playing unconventional roles in movies has bagged several awards and accolades in her 18-year-long acting career. She has received four National Awards, five Filmfare Awards, and been featured in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list for six times.
She is already receiving great reviews for her performance in her new release, Chandramukhi 2 which is running in theaters now. Kangana’s recent horror comedy Chandramukhi 2 has collected around Rs.23.89 crore to date.
Tejas teaser has been released by the makers today on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti as a gift of patriotic tribute to the nation. The release date of the movie has been pushed back by a week and now it is slated to release on October 27 of this year.
