International Women’s Day is an occasion to honour women. Like a famous leader once said, “Women hold up half the sky”. Women have now made forays into leadership and other positions of influence. They are breaking the glass ceiling in all domains and finally receiving their due. So, on March 8, Jay-Ho! The Jay Kumar Show says Jay-Ho! to all the ladies and also to some talented women and amazing humans who have moved the hearts of millions of people.

Let’s review the key moments of our Jay-Ho! The Jay Kumar Show’s women celebrity guests, who not only serve as tremendous role models for overcoming adversity, but have also traveled a great distance to leave a lasting impression on the world.

Alisha Chinai

Alisha Chinai is the fantastic singer and music performer who has ruled the hearts of many as Queen of Indipop from the 1980s through the 2000s and up to the present. Alisha is of course a pioneer of women finding their unique space and voice in a music industry marked by changes in conversation around the role of women. This quirky independent attitude has Alisha one of most beloved voices and enjoying tremendous success in her career, whether it is through the sales of her solo albums or the music she has contributed to films.

For all women who battle with self-doubt, Alisha serves as an inspiration. According to Alisha, pop music is a way for women to show their individuality. Despite the fact that society continuously tries to restrict how a woman expresses herself, she has always been ahead of the curve and pushed boundaries for herself and other women. She is a beacon to all the strong women out there, and by taking inspiration from her, anyone can start over by being fearless and being themselves.

Sonali Kulkarni

Sonali Kulkarni, an actress who has won national awards, is the epitome of talent and creativity. Every time Sonali has been on screen, whether in Cheluvi, Dil Chahta Hai, Kaccha Limbu, or any of her other films, she has exhibited exceptional performance. But few are aware of the colorism she had to deal with in society. In her battle, she has not only shattered barriers for herself but also opened the road to other talented women. On this Women’s Day, we honor role models like Sonali Kulkarni who have made significant contributions to the advancement of women.

Ekavali Khanna

One of the most recognisable and well-liked actors in contemporary regional and Bollywood films is the Bollywood actress Ekavali Khanna. She was raised in a household that valued the arts but skirted cinema until fate provided her with the chance to express her artistic abilities. Despite being in a trying time in her personal life, she soon went from one movie to more and more. After that, she went on to portray a wide range of roles and collaborate with a number of well-known filmmakers on movies, most notably Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain, Kaun Kitne Paani Mein, Veere Di Wedding. Her story serves as a testament to the influence of fate and the importance of seizing the moment when it presents itself.

Sireesha Bhagavatula

Success isn’t measured by how many games you win, but rather by how you perform following what you lose, as the Qala singer Sireesha Bhagavatula, a rising star and happy soul, aptly put it. The whims of fate may sometimes accelerate things, it is necessary to be always prepared. After all, missed opportunities are no excuse for artistic dedication. After losing in reality shows and then getting offers in movies, Sireesha shows the skill to gracefully embrace any important opportunity that comes her way. Sireesha was never deterred by her elimination from popular reality shows, and the singer persevered even harder in the wake of her Screen setbacks. Sireesha is one of the most in-demand singers right now. She is an inspiration to youth.

Sargam Koushal

Sargam Koushal, who won the Mrs. World 2022 competition, is yet another illustration of how Indian women are slaying the stage. She succeeded as a result, becoming the second Indian to hold the title. She outperformed all 51 attractive ladies from around India after a rigorous 6-month preparation process, starting with the Mrs. India World competition. Her amazing story serves as a motivating message for all women to follow their dreams.
