Actor Ranbir Kapoor has been making headlines recently for his highly anticipated film, Animal. The trailer of the film was released with much fanfare at PVR Cinema in Connaught Place, Delhi, with the lead actors Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna in attendance. The trailer has received a positive response from the audience so far. However, amidst the excitement, Ranbir Kapoor revealed that he deeply missed his late father, Rishi Kapoor, while shooting for the film.
Missing his Father’s Guidance:
During the trailer launch event, both Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol took a moment to talk about their fathers, Rishi Kapoor and Dharmendra, respectively. Bobby praised his Dad Dharmendra’s acting in the recent flick, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. At the same time, Ranbir reminisced about his father’s presence during the shooting of Animal. Ranbir shared, “Subconsciously, I always felt the absence of my father while shooting. My father was a passionate and aggressive man, and I have tried to incorporate this legacy into my character.”
Release Date and Cast Pairing:
Animal marks the first-time pairing of Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. The film is set to hit theaters on December 1st, where it will face tough competition from Vicky Kaushal’s film, Sam Bahadur. According to a report by Sacnilk Entertainment, the action thriller flick is expected to make a massive opening day collection. The report suggests that Animal has the potential to earn around 50 crore nett on its release day. However, the advance bookings for the film have not started yet.
