Although celebrities enjoy money and fame, they also face the downside of losing privacy and being open to threats and criminals. In a serious incident, legendary Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra and the industrialist Mukesh Ambani were allegedly threatened by an anonymous caller who threatened to bomb their houses.
According to an official, the phone call was received by the police control room in the Lakadganj area of Nagpur city on Tuesday and the call has been traced to the Shivaji Nagar area of Palghar near Mumbai. Allegedly, 25 persons had arrived in Mumbai to blow up the bungalows. Mumbai Police has been alerted and the police have launched a probe, the official added. So far, there has been no confirmation of weather the call is a hoax.
This call came just a day after the Supreme Court directed the Government of Maharashtra to provide the highest level of Z+ to Mukesh Ambani and his family. It further added that the entire expenses and cost of providing Z+ security cover to Ambanis within the territory of India or abroad shall be borne by them.
