A behind-the-scenes video from Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming film Gunmaaster G9 has sparked concern online after showing an SUV flipping mid-air and crashing onto a van during an action sequence. The footage has raised questions about whether the dramatic moment was part of the planned stunt or an unexpected mishap on the film set.
According to media reports, the incident occurred during the shooting of a climax sequence in Bengaluru on October 13. The viral clip shows an SUV suspended by a crane before suddenly rotating upside down and falling onto a black van parked beneath it. Reports say the vehicle came dangerously close to Hashmi, who reportedly escaped without injury. The makers have yet to publicly clarify the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
What Happened in the Viral Gunmaaster G9 Stunt Video?
The footage captures an outdoor filming setup with crew members and onlookers gathered around the stunt area. An SUV is seen hanging in the air from a crane as a countdown begins, building anticipation for the action sequence.
As the countdown reaches its final moment, the vehicle abruptly flips upside down and swings towards the ground. It then crashes onto the roof of a black van, prompting people near the setup to move towards the vehicles.
The video has drawn attention because of the apparent proximity of the falling SUV to the actor. While several reports describe the incident as a close call, it remains important to distinguish those reports from an official account of what happened. The production team has not publicly established whether the footage captures a planned stunt or a technical failure.
Emraan Hashmi Reportedly Escapes Without Injury
Following the video’s circulation, reports indicated that Emraan Hashmi was safe after the incident. The footage has nevertheless prompted concern among fans, particularly because it appears to show a vehicle falling close to the actor during a high-risk action sequence.
As of the latest reports, no injuries have been reported. However, the makers have not issued a detailed public statement explaining how the incident occurred or whether any changes were made to the filming arrangements afterwards.
